Property Damage
John Zerzan, controversial anti-globalization guru, advocates PROPERTY DAMAGE. According to him: "that is not violence. Sitting there doing dope and watching MTV. Then you go and get a job. Just schlep along. To me that is violence!"
When will the rest of the world catch on? Burn all bridges! Why keep that which we already have crossed? Isn't it better to build new, and greater, ones that are in harmony with nature?
There needs to be an end to consumption and greed. 20% of the worlds population can't continue to use, and abuse, 80% of its resources. It's madness. Do we deserve anything but nuclear holocaust? To quote John Zerzan again:
"We are terrorized into being consumers!"
It's not Al-Qaida but Wal-Mart we should fear. Think about that next time you need a new pair of Nike.

You know, there are times where I walked into a store with no intention of buying anything, and suddenly felt compelled to make a purchase. When I left the store, I looked at what I bought and said "What the fuck is this? Why would I buy something so useless?"
Aside from using colour shemes and clever placement of products in the store, I swear they play sound waves you can't actually hear, but can pick up on some subconscious level that makes you more suggestable.
I read somewhere that Product Placement in film/tv will increase something like 50% in the coming years because digital TV makes it easier for people to cut out commercials and ads.
Frightening!
