Nochnoi Dozor

Just seen the amazing Russian horror epic Night Watch and I was truly amazed. It's a very good film with a great concept, although sometimes a little too much MTV for my taste. But all in all it felt fresh and entertaining. What is more appropriate than a vampire that speaks russian?

But as with most things in this fucking world everything becomes sold before it's even bought. What could have been a great Russian film turned into a commercial for Nestlé! Yes not once but twice did the same brand of coffee appear in shot, in focus, in center and at key moments. I felt so disappointed.

In a film about vampires the corporate beast appears as the biggest vampire of them all.
